Tomi Lahren Joins Fox News

Tomi Lahren, who had a very public fallout with Glenn Beck’s The Blaze earlier this year, is joining Fox News as a contributor.

Fox News says Lahren “will have a signature role on an FNC digital product currently in development.” She’ll also contribute on air, making her debut tonight on Hannity.

Lahren rose to prominence during the 2016 election with her support of Donald Trump’s candidacy. She had her own program on The Blaze until she was suspended in March after her appearance on ABC’s The View in which she said, “I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies.”

Beck, unapologetically pro-life, fumed on his radio show about that statement saying, “I would disagree that you’re a hypocrite if you want limited government and yet you want the government to protect life of the unborn. It’s very, very clear.” Lahren followed her suspension with a lawsuit, which both sides settled in May.

In our 2017 TVNewser Challenge, we asked if you thought Lahren would “be scooped up by Fox News” this year. 54 percent of you said she would.
