Tom Jackson Is Actually Smarter Than All Of Us

By Marcus Vanderberg

In case you’re wondering how the New York Jets defeated the New England Patriots in Foxboro on Sunday, look no further than ESPN’s Tom Jackson.

Jackson was on Mike and Mike in the Morning and explained that by picking the Patriots to win, he was simply motivating the Jets.

“I played a bit of a psychological game with the Jets,” Jackson explained. “I thought it was important that they have in their minds that they got beat 45-3 [their last time in New England] and that a large segment of the population thinks that could happen to you again.”

Sure, Tom. Whatever you say. Next time you’re flat out wrong about a pick, just man up like the rest of us and admit it.
