New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Under Armour are teaming up for a consumer promotion during the NFL Draft using Facebook.

Under Armour will host the first-ever Tom Brady Draft Chat on April 29, a lengthy conversation and Q&A session with a limited group of fans. Fans looking to participate will have to visit Under Armour’s Facebook page through April 24 and submit photos of themselves “Getting Charged Up.”

Under Armour Founder and CEO Kevin Plank will select 12 winners, each of whom will be allowed to invite a guest to join him/her at the Draft Chat.

NFL analyst Boomer Esiason will moderate the chat, which also will be broadcast live on Under Armour’s Facebook page and on Ustream.tv, via the URL www.ustream.tv/underarmour.

“This event offers fans the special opportunity to learn first-hand how Tom Brady transformed himself from the 199th player picked in the 2000 NFL Draft to one of the most prolific quarterbacks of all time,” said Matt Mirchin, Senior Vice President of Sports Marketing, Under Armour. “Tom’s commitment to year-round training and hard work make him the perfect fit for our new line of Charged Cotton apparel, which is constructed to perform better than regular cotton.”

Brady signed with Under Armour last November and is one of the primary faces of the Charged Cotton campaign, a performance T-Shirt dries up to five times faster than regular cotton and infuses standard cotton fabric with performance material.
