Today’s Savannah Guthrie opened up about her faith and motherhood in a cover story for the October edition of Guideposts magazine. Guthrie discussed the role her faith plays in raising her one-year-old daughter, Vale. “I think [God] showered me with enormous grace and love by allowing me to have a baby at my late age and allowing me to experience this indescribable joy.”
Guideposts is a Christian nonprofit organization that offers magazines, books, websites, a prayer network, and outreach programs. Guthrie goes on to say that her faith, “is one of the most important things” in her life. Just last week, Guthrie was among a handful of TV news anchors to meet Pope Francis on his U.S. visit.
