‘Today’s’ Rand Paul Interview is Far from ‘Exclusive’

From the Exclusives That Aren’t file: As we reported this morning, Sen. Rand Paul spent an hour in conversation with FNC’s Sean Hannity last night. So it’s odd that the “Today” show branded Savannah Guthrie‘s interview with Paul an “exclusive.” MSNBC’s Jose Diaz-Balart went one further calling Guthrie’s chat “his first big interview.”

Guthrie’s interview was certainly more tense than Hannity’s, especially when the issue of Paul’s foreign policy positions was discussed.
