‘Today’ Show’s New Set Delayed a Week

By Chris Ariens

The “Today” show was planning to unveil its new set in Studio 1A today, but, like any big remodeling project, there’s a delay.

“We are currently putting the finishing touches on the new set, and we are thrilled with how it has come together,” “Today” EP Don Nash tells TVNewser. “We’ve got a lot of exciting new elements, so all this week we’ll be rehearsing and fine-tuning to get Studio 1A ready for its big debut.” The new set will bow next Monday.

The morning program did show off another set for another NBC show. Savannah Guthrie gave viewers a tour of the rooftop set for the much-hyped “Million Second Quiz” which begins a 10-day run on NBC and NBC.com tonight.
