It seems that TIME magazine’s Person of the Year is a pretty simple choice. It seems that way.
Still, TIME and the Today show are partnering for the 10th year in the row on the big reveal. On Monday, the shortlist will be revealed on the NBC morning show. On Tuesday, the anchors will discuss the poll results, and on Wednesday, in the 7 a.m. hour, TIME editor Nancy Gibbs will announce the Person of the Year.
Last year, Donald Trump took to Twitter about not being named Person of the Year.
I told you @TIME Magazine would never pick me as person of the year despite being the big favorite They picked person who is ruining Germany

This year it seems he will be. It seems that way.
By the way the Reader’s Poll, which is open through Sunday, has India Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the lead, with Trump, Pres. Obama and Julian Assange tied for second. Two TV newsers are on the list: Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson, who was on the TIME cover in October.
