If the Sunday morning shows are any indication, Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards has a leg up on Republican candidate Fred Thompson, at least with younger viewers. This Week with George Stephanopoulos featured Edwards, while Meet the Press’ Tim Russert spent most of the hour with Thompson.
This Week (1.13M viewers) topped MTP (1.08M viewers) in the A25-54 demo. It should be noted that Meet the Press was on at 8am (2.5 hours earlier than its regular time) in New York because of WNBC’s coverage of the New York City marathon.
