With host comings and goings, producer changes, and oversight moving from one ABC division to another, The View has seen its ups and downs in recent years. But today staffers took a little time to celebrate the holiday and a big November ratings month.

ABC News executives James Goldston, Tom Cibrowski and Barbara Fedida joined Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Jedediah Bila, Joy Behar, and the staff and crew of The View to celebrate the show’s November sweeps. Candi Carter, who was named ep in February and Brian Teta, who joined as Co-ep last August, led the toast.

The View averaged 3.031 million Total Viewers and 560,000 in the target women 25-54 demo in November. Now in its 20th season, this was The View’s largest sweeps month since February 2015.

While the election certainly brought viewership back to the show, it pales in comparison to the November 2008 sweeps which included a 6 million viewer episode the day after Barack Obama was elected. When Pres. Obama visited The View for the first time in 2010, 6.6 million tuned in.
