The Top TV News Programs In April Were…

Fox News had the top 13 cable news programs in total viewers and the top nine programs in the adults 25-54 demo for the month of April.

As usual, the top FNC program in both categories was “The O’Reilly Factor,” which averaged 2.87 million total and 568,000 demo viewers.

MSNBC’s top program in both total and demo viewers was “The Rachel Maddow Show,” which drew 985,000 and 287,000 viewers respectively. Maddow placed 14th overall in total viewers and 10th in the demo.

CNN’s top program in total viewers was “Piers Morgan Tonight,” which placed 19th overall with 567,000 viewers. The top program in the demo was “AC360,” which placed 21st with 177,000.

As usual, HLN’s top program was “Nancy Grace,” which placed 35th in total viewers with 373,000 and 28th in the demo with 133,000.

The top regularly scheduled program on CNBC with total viewers was “Squawk on the Street” with 269,000, while “60 Minutes on CNBC” led the way in the demo with 79,000.

Fox Business Network’s top show in total and demo viewers was the weekly “Stossel,” with 119,000 total and 32,000 demo viewers.
