The Top Cable News Shows of Oct. 2019

By A.J. Katz

For the seventh month in a row, Sean Hannity had the most-watched show on cable news. Hannity was also No. 1  in October 2019 among adults 25-54, although MSNBC claims that Rachel Maddow had the No. 1 show of the month in the demo.

According to live-plus-same-day data from Nielsen, Fox News had six of the top 10 cable news shows of the month among total viewers, while MSNBC had the other four, led by Maddow, per usual.

Cuomo Prime Time, hosted by Chris Cuomo, was once again CNN’s top show. Not only that, but it snared a spot in the cable news top 10 among adults 25-54. It came in at No. 23, however, in average total audience.
