Q2 2012 has come and gone, but some things remain the same. One of those things is that Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” is the number one cable news program in both total viewers and adults 25-54. O’Reilly led all of cable news, and of course FNC, in both categories last quarter.
FNC had the top 13 cable news programs in total viewers, and the top eight in the demo.
MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow” placed ninth in the demo and 14th in total viewers, making it the top non-FNC program in both categories, and leading the pack at MSNBC.
“Piers Morgan Tonight” was the top CNN program in total viewers, placing 19th overall, while “AC360” was the top CNN show in the demo, placing 20th.
As usual, “Nancy Grace” was the top program on HLN, placing 35th overall in total viewers among cable news programs, and 28th in the demo.
