> The Columbus Dispatch writes about the four Ohio college students who will be contributing convention reports for Fox News Channel as part of their partnership with Palestra.net. The reporters, “represent people 18 to 24, college-age viewers, people who admittedly don’t watch a lot of cable news,” said FNC VP Joel Cheatwood. “This is a way to tap into that audience and get their input.

> The student generated content site UWIRE is partnering with CBS News and washingtonpost.com for Youth Vote ’08. The project will include commentary from more than 50 young correspondents covering young voters, who are expected to make a big impact on Election Day. UWIRE is owned by CBS Interactive.

> Cub reporter Anna Arena, who’s been tapped to file stories for CBS’ The Early Show, had her first report this morning. 13-year-old Arena interviewed Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine and the Rev. Al Sharpton. And if she gets the chance to interview the nominee, Arena says, “it would be the coolest experience and I’ll come up with killer questions for him.” Like, totally.
