  • NBC News DC bureau chief Ken Strickland is the newest member of the Gridiron Club, the oldest journalistic organization in Washington, D.C. Strickland joined NBC in 1995 and was named vice president and DC bureau chief in 2012.

  • Jake Tapper’s book, “The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor,” is headed to the big screen. The Oscar-nominated screenwriters of “The Fighter” have acquired the rights to the CNN anchor’s book, our sister site FishbowlDC reports.
