The Ticker: Sciutto, Imus, Layoffs…

> ABC’s Jim Scuitto will report for several ABC News platforms about his recent reporting from Myanmar. Scuitto slipped into the country at the end of September and reported via cell phone after authorities confiscated his camera. His stories will include new video from a week spent traveling inside the country.

> The NYTimes‘ Jacques Steinberg reports RFD TV will, in fact, simulcast Don Imus‘ radio program when it launches Dec. 3. RFD is available in about 30 million homes, mostly in rural towns throughout the U.S. The channel is on Dish Network & DirecTV.

> B&C reports CourtTV is cutting its online team in half and moving its trial coverage to CNN.com. 16 of 31 Web employees are being let go, as well as six jobs in operations and two in daytime. CourtTV becomes truTV on January 1.
