- MSNBC’s VP of longform programming, Michael Rubin, will be adding oversight of longform programming at The Weather Channel to his duties (NBCU is an owner of TWC). He will manage Weather’s longform development and scheduling, in addition to his MSNBC duties.
- NBC’s “Today” worked with BuzzFeed to bring the news site’s popular listicles to TV. In a segment called “Today’s BuzzList,” show contributors adapted a BuzzFeed list for a segment on the program.
- BBC Global News is adding Jon Miller and Rob Norman as non-executive directors. Miller is the former chief digital officer for News Corp., while Norman is the chief digital officer for GroupM Worldwide.
