The Ticker: Ross, Philbin, Kelly-Brown

By Chris Ariens

  • ABC’s Brian Ross hit a jaywalking pedestrian outside the network’s headquarters Sunday evening. Ross says he was “slowly” pulling up to his parking spot when a 52-year-old former taxi driver walked in front of his BMW. The man suffered a broken arm, bruises and back pain.

  • Regis Philbin is scaling back his work at Fox Sports 1’s “Crowd Goes Wild” after the Super Bowl. Philbin actually told the NYTimes’ Richard Sandomir that he was leaving the show, but Fox Sports says he’s just taking February off, then returning on a limited basis.
