> With Diane Sawyer out this week, Good Morning America has some high-profile fill ins. Barbara Walters filled in this morning and she’ll be back tomorrow too. Then on Wednesday and Thursday, Charles Gibson returns to his old stomping grounds to co-anchor with Robin Roberts, making for a long day for the World News anchor.

> Tonight, on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, correspondent Allen Pizzey speaks with Richard Butler, who was on assignment for CBS News when he was taken captive in Basra Feb. 10. It’ll be Butler’s first interview since his release April 14.

> BBC World News announced a new partnership with PBS station KCET that will keep it on public TV. The Southern California station will distribute daily newscasts on behalf of BBC World News, once the current agreement with WLIW expires in October.
