> Marketwatch.com‘s Jon Friedman says Reality Show author, and Washington Post media critic Howard Kurtz is getting a bum rap.

> Former NBC News boss Neal Shapiro is joining the board of Gannett, owner of USA Today and about a hundred other newspapers/websites. Shapiro, who left NBC in 2005, is president of New York’s WNET.

> FBN contributor Carly Fiorina sat down with Fortune magazine (before her gig with FBN was announced). When asked which business leaders she admires, Fiornia responded “I admire what Jeff Immelt is trying to do at GE.”
