> Broadcasting & Cable honored the 2008 Hall of Famers last night, including FNC Chairman Roger Ailes. “People always ask me what’s the key to success. Well here it is: It’s not enough to hire good people. You must also take credit for everything they do,” joked Ailes in his acceptance speech.

> On the first night of Keith Olbermann’s nightly Special Campaign Comments, the MSNBC program had its highest viewership ever in the A25-54 demo (935,000). Countdown was #1 in demo and #2 in Total Viewers (behind The O’Reilly Factor). Also, Hardball was #1 at 7pmET and The Rachel Maddow Show was #1 at 9pmET in the demo.

> Bloomberg’s Peter Cook moderates a one-hour debate tonight at 9pmET, between the economic policy directors of both presidential campaigns. Jason Furman (for Obama) and Douglas Holtz-Eakin (for McCain) will address the credit crisis, healthcare and more.
