> On the 42nd season premiere of “60 Minutes” this Sunday, an exclusive interview with the general in charge of the war in Afghanistan, a report on efforts to find money to repay the victims of Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff and a feature on the still lively earnings of dead celebrities.

> NBC’s “Dateline” will have an exclusive this Friday called “The Michael Jackson Tapes.” The “Today” show’s Meredith Vieira will interview Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, a friend of Jackson’s who recorded many conversations with the star, with his permission.

> Tonight, CNBC presents an all-new sequel to its 2004 Walmart documentary. “The New Age of Walmart,” reported by David Faber, will air at 9 and 10:30pmET. The original “Age of Walmart” won a Peabody and a duPont award.
