Russert, the son of the late “MTP” moderator Tim Russert, will contribute both on-air and on the “MTP” digital platform.

  • CNN’s Jake Tapper will be honored with the “Tex” McCrary Award for Excellence in Journalism today in Knoxville, Tennessee. Tapper’s award comes for his book, “The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor,” which tells the story of a deadly American battle in Afghanistan.
