  • Actress Mira Sorvino partnered with the CNN Freedom Project for a report on child sexual exploitation in Cambodia. The report, “Every Day in Cambodia,” premieres this weekend on CNN International. Additionally, Sorvino’s diary from the trip has been posted on CNN.com.

  • Matt Lauer picked up the tab for the “Today” show holiday party, held this week at the Gallery at Dream Downtown in New York City, Page Six reports. Staffers enjoyed “Liquid Sunrise” cocktails, a nod to the “Today” show’s sunrise showcase, at the bash.

  • Another fugitive featured on CNBC’s “American Greed” was captured this week. International mutual fund manager Eric Bartoli was arrested this week in Peru. Bartoli was featured on an August 2012 episode of “American Greed.”
