- CNN’s Christiane Amanpour will interview Malala Yousafzai, the girl shot by the Taliban for trying to get an education. The interview will be conducted live at New York’s 92nd Street Y, and will air as a special called The Bravest Girl in the World on CNN Sunday, Oct. 13 at 7PM.
- The Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame has lined up former “Today” anchor Meredith Vieira and “60 Minutes” correspondent Lesley Stahl as the co-hosts for this year’e event. The honorees include “Live! with Kelly and Michael and Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek.
