The P.M. Ticker: Cramer, Wagner, Henry

By Chris Ariens

  • Is Cramer to blame for the Facebook IPO? A source of the Daily News gossip column Gatecrasher thinks so. While Morgan Stanley is getting the brunt of it, the firm is blaming CNBC for “engaging in some pre-IPO hyping of their own.”

  • MSNBC’s Alex Wagner gets a write-up in her hometown Capitol File: “Wagner’s laserlike focus on both political and cultural issues – as well as her multicultural good looks and obvious hip factor – makes her path to television stardom predetermined.”

  • FNC’s Ed Henry and press secretary Jay Carney went all fast and furious at the White House briefing today. Carney got a little short with Henry at one point when discussing the Fast & Furious operation : “As you, I think — perhaps more than others given the interest in this at your network — knows the administration, principally the Department of Justice, has cooperated extensively with Congressional investigators, provided extensive documentation.” WATCH:
