The Morning Ticker: Sawyer, Hannity, Leno

By Chris Ariens

  • ABC’s Diane Sawyer dropped in at the Media Center at USC’s Annenberg School Monday. Instead of finding their EP sitting for the morning meeting, the former “World News” anchor sat, sharing career and storytelling advice with the students.

  • FNC’s Sean Hannity talks about how he cut 27 pounds in 18 months. He did it the old-fashioned way: low-carb, no sugar diet and exercise, which includes kick boxing, jujitsu, submission and grappling.

  • On the “Today” show this morning, Jay Leno talked about his upcoming CNBC show. “Jay Leno’s Garage,” which had been produced for NBC.com, moves to a weekly slot on CNBC in 2015. “We’ll have some humor in it. We’ll have celebrities on,” Leno says.
