  • PLUM TV has re-launched as a national lifestyle network with WMFP in Boston and WTVE in Philadelphia. PLUM has raised $4.4 million in investor financing since emerging from bankruptcy earlier this year and can be seen in 6 million homes.

  • Former ABC News, PBS and Yahoo! executive David Chalian, terminated by his last employer for some open mic comments, has joined Politico as VP of Video Programming.

  • Unity, the umbrella journalism organization representing members of the NAJA, NAHJ, NLGJA and AAJA, has elected new board members, one from each of the groups representing Native American, Hispanic, Asian American and LGBT journalists.
