  • Ashoka Mukpo, the NBC News freelancer battling Ebola, received an emergency blood donation Tuesday from Dr. Kent Brantly, the first American to survive the virus.

  • Alexis Madrigal is joining Fusion as Silicon Valley Bureau Chief. Madrigal, who joins from, will oversee technology coverage across the digital and TV platforms as well as through live events.

  • “60 Minutes” made the Nielsen Top 10 this week. With an audience of 14.2 million viewers, “60” was No. 7 on the list. Sunday’s show featured the first of a two-part Scott Pelley interview with FBI director James Comey.
