  • Ashoka Mukpo, the NBC News freelancer battling Ebola, received an emergency blood donation Tuesday from Dr. Kent Brantly, the first American to survive the virus.

  • Alexis Madrigal is joining Fusion as Silicon Valley Bureau Chief. Madrigal, who joins from TheAtlantic.com, will oversee technology coverage across the digital and TV platforms as well as through live events.

  • “60 Minutes” made the Nielsen Top 10 this week. With an audience of 14.2 million viewers, “60” was No. 7 on the list. Sunday’s show featured the first of a two-part Scott Pelley interview with FBI director James Comey.
