  • Just who was it that broke the news of Dr. Nancy Snyderman breaking her quarantine? WaPo’s Erik Wemple reveals it’s a former Times of Trenton reporter who took a buyout and launched her own blog called Planet Princeton.

  • CBS’s Jan Crawford got the first interview with Brittany Maynard, the terminally ill Oregon woman who has chosen physician-assisted suicide rather than the painful end her cancer portends. Maynard says she doesn’t want to die. “If anyone wants to hand me a magical cure… I’ll take them up on it,” she says.

  • Yahoo’s Katie Couric sat down with Susan Mellen who was recently released from prison after 17 years. Mellen was convicted of the murder of Rick Daly, a transient man she once dated. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge threw out the conviction last week.
