The Evening Ticker: Lauer, Suratt, Kelly

  • The “Today” show kicked off its second annual No-Shave “Today.” Matt Lauer, Al Roker,  Willie Geist and Carson Daly will once again grow beards this month to raise awareness for men’s health issues. Last year, the show raised more than $100,000.

  • Samuel T. Suratt, the Archivist for CBS News for more than 20 years from 1969 to 1991, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in New York City. He was 81.

  • In case you missed it, Megyn Kelly got the “Saturday Night Live” treatment over the weekend. Cecily Strong played the FNC anchor for SNL’s cold open, which focused on New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s defense of Ebola quarantines. WATCH:
