Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will debut on September 28. The network announced the premiere date via a promotional video featuring Noah “getting comfortable” in Jon Stewart‘s chair.
Stewart announced his departure back in February, but Comedy Central president Michele Ganeless said the network wasn’t looking for the next Stewart when they chose Noah. Stewart has been the host of the news satire program since replacing Craig Kilborn back in 1999.
