The Blaze’s Tomi Lahren Debates Trevor Noah on The Daily Show

By Chris Ariens

The Blaze’s Tomi Lahren when into “the lion’s den,” as she described it last night, sitting down with Trevor Noah on the Daily Show. Six minutes of the interview aired on Comedy Central. You can watch the full 26 minutes below.

Lahren and Noah ran the gamut of topics: from Donald Trump‘s election to the black lives matter movement; from Colin Kaepernick‘s National Anthem protest to immigration; from the alt-right to the KKK.

Noah argued that Lahren is now part of the mainstream media. “No I’m not,” she shot back.

“If you have 17 million views on your video, is that not mainstream?”

“It’s mainstream in that it’s being watched, it’s not mainstream in classification,” she countered.

Noah tried to get to the heart of Lahren’s argumentative nature: “I wish that we could disagree with each other without thinking that we are bad people or ill-intentioned folks. Because I criticize a black person or the black lives matter movement, that doesn’t mean that I am anti-black or that I don’t like black people or that I’m racist,” she said, adding, “I’m criticizing a movement.”

“Your side has won, do you believe that Donald Trump will follow through on his promises?” Noah asked.

“I will be a vocal opponent if he doesn’t,” she said.
