The Advocate is out with its 50 most influential LGBT media figures list. And the top spot drew a tie.
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and TMZ’s Harvey Levin both ranked number one. Levin has been a cable news fixture over the last week in the aftermath of his site exposing elevator footage of Ray Rice hitting his then-fiancee Janay Palmer. ABC’s Robin Roberts, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, CNBC’s Suze Orman, CNN’s Don Lemon, MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts, The Weather Channel’s Sam Champion, MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki, and HLN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell were some of the other TV newsers who made the list.
