Terry Moran Takes Over at Supreme Court, Continues ‘Nightline’ Co-Anchoring

By Chris Ariens

It’s official. With Jan Crawford Greenburg’s jump from ABC to CBS, ABC News president David Westin announced today that Terry Moran will now be ABC’s correspondent covering the Supreme Court. Westin’s email, obtained by TVNewser:

I am pleased to announce that Terry Moran will bring his considerable expertise in covering legal matters to a new assignment: reporting on the Supreme Court for ABC News. Terry will continue as co-anchor of Nightline as he assumes this new role. For Terry, this assignment is a return to his roots having covered the Court for ABC in 1998-1999 and before that as an anchor and reporter at Court TV and a managing editor at Legal Times. Terry will report on the Court for all ABC News broadcasts, including World News, Nightline and GMA as well as ABC News Radio, ABC News NOW, and ABCNEWS.com. Please join me in congratulating Terry on this new assignment.
