A series of terrorist attacks around Paris Friday night have left dozens of people dead. Cable news networks and streaming services quickly began continuing coverage of the attacks which occurred in multiple Paris locations, including near Stade de France where the national team is taking on Germany in a friendly soccer match. French President Hollande, who was at the match, was evacuated from the stadium.
ABC’s George Stephanopoulos broke into ABC programming at 3:39 p.m. ET with reporting from Brian Ross. Lester Holt anchored a NBC News Special Report at 4:47 joined by NBC News correspondent Keir Simmons.
Fox News is shelving The Five and will continue with breaking news anchored by Shepard Smith from the Fox News Deck.
