Ted Cruz on ‘Hannity’ Tonight; ‘Today’ Tomorrow

By Brian Flood

Texas Senator Ted Cruz announced this morning that he would run for president in 2016. Before hitting the campaign trail, Cruz will appear exclusively on “Hannity” tonight at 10pmET. Cruz will join Sean Hannity for the full hour and the two will discuss today’s announcement, what’s next for Cruz and look ahead to 2016.

Just last week, Bloomberg Politics took a look at the GOP 2016 field and examined which TV newsers the candidates follow on Twitter. The winner? Hannity, who is followed by 13 of 17 tracked candidates. Meanwhile, “The Kelly File” has Senator Rand Paul scheduled to appear tonight and he’ll likely react to Cruz making his official announcement.

Then tomorrow morning, Matt Lauer sits down Cruz and his wife, Heidi in their first joint interview since the announcement. The interview will be live tomorrow on NBC’s “Today” show. Cruz also sat down for interviews with ABC and CBS which will air on “Good Morning America” and “CBS This Morning.”
