Tear Gas Fired, Twice, at BBC Crew in Turkey

By Chris Ariens Comment

BBCSyria304BBC correspondent Paul Adams was filing a report along the Turkey-Syria border Monday when Turkish troops fired tear gas at him and his crew. Adams’s cameraman continued recording even as a second round was fired directly into their van. You can hear the glass shatter and Adams yell, “Stop! stop!” The crew then jumped out so as not to be overcome by the fumes, and Adams continued reporting. Nobody was injured. Watch:
