‘Swift Justice’: Nancy Grace Out at Syndie Show

One of the biggest breakout syndication hits last season was CBS Television Distribution’s “Swift Justice with Nancy Grace.”

Today, B&C’s Paige Albiniak reports that the HLN host will not be returning for the show’s sophomore year, and will be replaced by Judge Jackie Glass.

CBS decided to move the show’s production from Atlanta, where Grace lives, to Los Angeles.

“I am so proud of the work we have done on Swift Justice,” said Grace in a statement. “Leaving such a successful show was a tough decision, but, with the increased requirements of the production’s relocation to Los Angeles, it became challenging to balance my most important job — mother to John David and Lucy — back home.”

The decision is a shocking one, considering Grace was intimately involved in the creation of the show. “Swift Justice” and Grace are currently embroiled in a lawsuit, with Grace’s former publicist arguing that she deserves credit as a co-creator on the program.

Grace will continue to host her nightly program on HLN.
