Rick Austin is a survivalist, author, radio host and runs a camp for people who are preparing for doomsday. He allegedly turned down a chance to be featured on CNN’s upcoming docu-series United Shades of America with comedian W. Kamau Bell.
Bell’s new show aims to take a humorous look at different cultures across the country. Austin’s camp teaches adults how to survive disaster scenarios. Seems like a perfect fit, right?
According to the Inquisitr, Austin told the show’s production company that CNN “is a left-wing biased network” and that Bell’s involvement with the show will result in being “a story about ‘kooks’ and people who think the sky is falling.”
In fairness to both parties, Bell wouldn’t be doing his job properly if he didn’t find humor in the Prepper Camp. If you want to learn more, check out the promotional video below:
