
CBS’ Face the Nation with John Dickerson was the top-rated Sunday public affairs program in total viewers on October 11. The broadcast featured a sit down interview with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and had the largest audience since Dickerson took the helm.
However, ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos won the key A25-54 demo for the seventh-straight Sunday. This Week is up +17 percent in the demo compared to the same week last year.
NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd finished second in total viewers but third in the demo. MTP has now beaten ABC’s This Week in total viewers for 12 straight weeks. MTP delivered an additional 1.27 million total viewers and 602,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC. MTP is up +14 percent in the viewers and +12 percent in the demo.
Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace combined with cable replays for 2.83 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 1.6 million total viewers and 272,000 in the demo.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 57.4% of the country.
