CBS’s “Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer” was first among Sunday shows in viewers and in the key A25-54 demo last week, despite being down -3% overall and -8% in the demo compared to the same week last year.
ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” was second in both categories, up +5% in the demo. NBC’s “Meet the Press” came in third and was preempted a year ago for coverage of Formula 1 racing.
“Fox News Sunday” was down -9% in the demo but totaled 3.4M viewers when combining broadcast numbers with cable replay. Cable rebroadcasts of “Fox News Sunday” on Fox News Channel averaged a combined 2.06 million total viewers and 397,000 in the demo.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 55% of the country.

As for November Sweeps, “Face the Nation” finished first in total viewers and the demo, although it was down -7% in the demo since November sweeps in 2013. By contrast, “This Week” was up +7% in the demo and claimed its first November sweeps Total Viewers victory over “Meet the Press” in 18 years.
“Face the Nation” was first in all these measures for the third consecutive November sweep.
