A split decision for the Sunday public affairs shows on May 11: CBS’ “Face the Nation” won in total viewers and ABC’s “This Week” won in the A25-54 demographic.
With “Meet the Press” preempted for NBC’s coverage of the Barclays Premier League, “Fox News Sunday” was third and Univision’s “Al Punto” was fourth.
Compared to the same week last year, only “This Week” grew in both ratings measurements, up +20% in total viewers and +22% in A25-54 viewers. “Face the Nation” was up +4% in total viewers and down -13% in the demo, while “Fox News Sunday” and “Al Punto” were down across the board.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 1,738,000 total viewers and 327,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 50% of the country.
