The leaderboard continues to fluctuate for the Sunday public affairs shows: after placing third place last week, CBS’ “Face the Nation” is back to first place in total viewers. “This Week” won in the A25-54 demo for the fourth straight week, its longest demo winning streak in over 19 years.
Compared to the same week last year, CBS and ABC were both up: “This Week” grew +41% in total viewers and +68% in the demo, and “Face the Nation” grew +43% in both total and demo viewers. “Meet the Press” was down -6% in total viewers and flat in the demo. Fox was up +38% in viewers and +5% in the demo. Univision is down in both measurements, -28% and -24%, respectively.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,663,000 total viewers and 470,000 A25-54 viewers. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” averaged 1,117,000 total viewers and 461,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 50% of the country.
