NBC’s “Meet the Press” was the most watched Sunday show this week, though all four programs were down in total viewers from the previous week. CBS’ “Face the Nation” remained #2 and made it nine out of the last ten weeks that it has topped ABC’s “This Week.” “MTP” moved back into first in the A25-54 demo.
As ABC continues to rotate anchors, contributor and political analyst Matt Dowd hosted “This Week,” his first time anchoring any broadcast.
“Fox News Sunday” drew an additional 2.09M total viewers (427,000 demo) via cable replays. Rebroadcasts of “MTP” drew an additional 813,000 total viewers.
(Note: While Cablevision came to some understanding in it’s negotiations with ABC in time for the Oscar’s broadcast, “This Week” wasn’t as lucky. New York’s WABC was not available in around 2.9 million homes on Sunday morning.)
