CBS “Face the Nation” was the top Sunday public affairs show in both total viewers and adults 25-54 last Sunday. NBC’s “Meet the Press” was a close second, with ABC’s “This Week” very close behind that program.
“Fox News Sunday” was in third place with Univision’s “Al Punto” rounding out the list in fourth.
Compared to the same week last year, “MTP” and “Fox news Sunday” were down in both total and demo viewers, “Face the Nation” is up in both categories, while “This Week” is flat in total viewers, and down slightly in the demo.
Cable news replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 1.87M total viewers and 434,000 A25-54 viewers, while “MTP” replays added 985,000 total and 395,000 demo viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour airs in just 65% of the country.
