Sunday Show Ratings: June 16

It was a split decision for the Sunday public affairs shows on June 16: CBS’ “Face the Nation” takes the top spot in Total Viewers, but NBC’s “Meet the Press” wins in the A25-54 demographic. ABC’s “This Week” was in third in Total Viewers and second in the demo, with “Fox News Sunday” and Univision’s “Al Punto” in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Compared to the same week last year, “Meet the Press” (+2% / +27%) and “This Week” (+1% / +58%) were both up slightly in Total Viewers and significantly in A25-54 viewers. “Face the Nation” (+3% / -13%) and “Fox News Sunday” (+5% / -12%) were both up in Total Viewers but down in the demo, while Univision’s “Al Punto” was down in both ratings measurements (-19% / -22%).

Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,548,000 Total Viewers and 512,000 viewers in the demo. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered an additional 1,196,ooo Total Viewers and 620,000 A25-54 viewers.

“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 66% of the country.
