CBS’ Face the Nation with John Dickerson was the top-rated Sunday public affairs program in total viewers on July 5. However, ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos won the key A25-54 demo for the sixth consecutive week. This Week is now in the midst of its longest winning streak in more than 20 years, dating back to October 1994.
NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd finished third in viewers and second in the demo, while FTN ranked third in the demo despite winning total viewers. Fox News Sunday combined with cable replays for 3.01 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 1.80 million total viewers and 385,000 in the demo.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 76.3% of the country.
