NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd was the top-rated Sunday public affairs program last Sunday, averaging 2.88 million viewers. It’s MTP’s first win since February 22 and biggest total viewer edge over CBS’ Face the Nation with John Dickerson since Todd’s debut back on September 7, 2014.
MTP featured interviews with presidential candidates John Kasich and Bernie Sanders. ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos won the key A25-54 demo for the ninth consecutive Sunday. However, the ABC show fell to third place in total viewers after winning the previous week.
Replays of Fox News Sunday on Fox News Channel averaged a combined 2.16 million total viewers and 408,000 in the demo.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 76.3% of the country.
