ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos surpassed CBS’ Face the Nation with John Dickerson as the top-rated Sunday public affairs program in total viewers on July 19. This Week also dominated the key A25-54 demo, winning for the eighth consecutive Sunday and topping FTN by 385,000 viewers.
NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd once again finished third in viewers and second in the demo, but nearly passed FTN in total viewers. Fox News Sunday combined with cable replays for 3.39 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 2.10 million total viewers and 384,000 in the demo.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 76.3% of the country.
